Meet Elizabeth
Elizabeth Misner is a classically trained ballet dancer who began her dance journey at the age of six. She trained exclusively in classical ballet through her childhood and teen years, later performing and expanding her repertoire with the Atlanta Ballet, where she fell in love with contemporary styles. Drawn to the freedom and expression of contemporary ballet, Elizabeth went on to dance with many of Atlanta’s leading contemporary companies, including Gotta Dance Contemporary and Zoetic, working with choreographers such as John McFall, Cherrise Wakeham, Sarah Hilmer, Alexander Proia, Rachel Truitt, and Hannibal Burress.
Elizabeth began teaching ballet at the age of fifteen and has been sharing her passion for dance with students ever since. Her teaching emphasizes strong technique, creative expression, and the life lessons dance offers - discipline, confidence, and joy. To Elizabeth, dance is more than movement; it’s a powerful tool for self-expression, connection, and growth.
