Terms of Service
By visiting and using the Brookhaven Dance website, you agree to the following Terms of Service. These terms apply to all visitors, students, and users of our site and services.
1. Use of Our Site
You agree not to:
Use the site for any unlawful or unauthorized purpose
Copy, reuse, or distribute content without permission
Share private or member-only information, such as enrollment links or class materials
2. Classes & Private Lessons
All classes, camps, private lessons, and parties must be reserved in advance through our scheduling system or by direct communication. We reserve the right to modify offerings or refuse service as needed for the safety and well-being of our students and staff.
3. Participation & Safety
Dance involves physical activity and movement. Students participate at their own risk and should wear appropriate attire and footwear.
Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian upon arrival and pickup
Brookhaven Dance is not responsible for injuries resulting from failure to follow studio guidelines
4. Attendance & Cancellations
Consistent attendance is crucial for student progress, and there are no make-up classes available. Regular participation is essential for advancing through the study levels. Students aspiring to participate in recitals are strongly encouraged to minimize absences leading up to the performance. Please note that refunds are not provided for missed classes.
To discontinue classes, a thirty (30) day written notice is required. Notify us by emailing info@brookhavendance.com to withdraw your dancer.
For summer camps, summer classes, and summer intensives, we implement a 2-week cancellation policy. Refunds are not provided for missed classes, canceled classes, or withdrawals. All tuition paid is non-refundable, and credits, when applicable, are non-transferable.
See our Studio Policies for more information.
5. Tuition, Memberships, & Payments
All membership plans, class packs, tuition, and drop-ins are subject to our current pricing and policies. See our Studio Policies for more information.
Payment is due at the time of enrollment unless otherwise arranged
Refunds are not issued for missed classes or services already rendered
To enroll in classes, the first month of tuition and a registration fee are required. All tuition paid is non-refundable and non-transferable. Tuition covers class costs only and excludes performance fees, costume fees, dance portraits, etc. Tuition is based on a 10-month season and is not prorated by the number of weeks in a month.
Tuition is charged via Auto-pay on the 1st of each month. Failed auto-payments will trigger a reminder for parents to update their payment information. If tuition is not paid by the 5th of the month, a $10.00 late charge will be added. An additional $25 late fee will be added if not paid by the 15th. Students falling two months behind will not be allowed in class until the account is settled, including late fees. Families with outstanding balances 60 days past due will be automatically dropped from classes.
6. Photo & Video Release
