Cate Tedford
Cate began dancing at age 4 in her hometown of Fort Mill, SC. Throughout her dance experience, Cate has trained under Emmy-award winning choreographer Jena Burgin-Peters, Amelia Binford of Northwest School of the Arts, Anna Lauren Fresk of Jolie South Dance Academy, Amber Griffin of Steps N Motion, and many others. Cate has performed with Carolina Voices’ The Singing Christmas Tree, the Charlotte Symphony Orchestra, Opera Carolina at the Belk Theater, and at national conventions such as Radix, Velocity, Showstopper, and JUMP. She has assisted in teaching and choreography at studios across the Carolinas, as well as choreographed for local pageants.
Cate’s training includes programs with the Radio City Rockettes, Joffrey Ballet, and classes at Broadway Dance Center. Cate now works in the nonprofit sector and is passionate about community engagement and mindful movement.
Before moving to Atlanta in August of 2024, Cate was teaching at International Ballet Academy and Dance Collaborative, both in Greenville, SC. She believes that dance is not only a form of personal expression and storytelling, but it is also a practice of love for self and care for community. Additionally, she works as a yoga instructor and is currently a Master of Divinity student at Emory University, studying peacebuilding and conflict transformation. Cate is so excited to join the teaching team at Brookhaven Dance!

Patrick Condon
At age eleven Patrick Condon started his training at the Maltz Jupiter Theater, Conservatory of Performing Arts in south Florida. There he trained in various styles of dance with a strong
focus on musical theater and was involved in many shows such as Sound of Music, West Side Story, Little Shop of Horrors and Pippin while in Middle School and High School.He then graduated from college with a B.A. in dance studies from Brenau University in Gainesville, Georgia; while working with choreographers such as Carl Flink, Vincas Greene, Madia Cooper, and Jolie Long. By this time, he studied various techniques of Ballet, Hip Hop, Musical Theater, Jazz, Modern, Tap and even some Latin Ballroom. Since then, he has been teaching nonstop to all levels and ages even during the pandemic at multiple studios around Georgia including Georgia Academy of Dance, En Pointe, Gainesville Ballet and North Georgia School of Ballet.
During this time he has also performed in various musical and dance productions such as A Christmas Carol, Cinderella, The Growing Up of Annabell Potts and has performed with Modern
dance company Cherish Dance. Patrick is always on the lookout for new adventures and challenges and is excited to now be able to share and create fun and new experiences at Brookhaven Dance. -

Bayley Herring
Bayley has been dancing since she was 2 years old and hasn’t stopped since! She grew up training in all styles - jazz, lyrical, contemporary, tap, hip hop, ballet, and musical theatre - and spent years competing across the south, earning multiple national titles along the way. In college, she was a member of the Ole Miss Dance Company, where she continued to grow as both a performer and choreographer. After graduating, she danced with the Tomahawk Dance Team and now loves getting to pass on everything she’s learned to the next generation.
Bayley’s all about building confidence, having fun, and helping dancers grow both in and out of the studio. When she’s not dancing, you can find her at a country concert, cheering on the Ole Miss Rebels or the Atlanta Braves, working in marketing, or running her spray tan business. She’s so excited to be part of Brookhaven Dance! -

Leon Von Brown
Leon Von Brown is an internationally recognized dancer, choreographer, and master teacher based in Atlanta, GA. He has shared the stage and screen with icons such as Samuel L. Jackson, Queen Latifah, and Laurence Fishburne, and has performed with legendary artists like Dianne McIntyre, Kenny Ortega, and Cecil Taylor.
His credits include The Color Purple, Miss Evers’ Boys, Genius: Aretha, and the 1996 Summer Olympic Games. As an educator, Leon has taught at institutions including the Atlanta Ballet, Agnes Scott College, and internationally in Germany. He is also the nephew of jazz legend Clifford Brown and author of the children’s book I Remember Clifford.
Performing is his passion — and he is honored to share that passion through dance.

Leah Rountree
Leah’s journey in dance began during college, where she choreographed group routines that emphasized musicality, expression, and team collaboration. After college, she worked as an Assistant Producer and Creative for Jeremy Green at JGreen Productions, where she contributed to music video projects and dance intensives, gaining hands-on experience in both the creative and production sides of the industry.
Leah then spent three incredible years as Captain of the Atlanta Braves’ Tomahawk Team. As a choreographer and collaborator, she played a key role in creating high-energy performances for all in-stadium entertainment, as well as community appearances and events throughout Atlanta. Her work combined entertainment, athleticism, and team spirit, helping to elevate the game-day experience for thousands of fans.
Now, Leah is thrilled to bring her experience and enthusiasm into the classroom as a Kids Hip Hop teacher. She loves crafting fun, age-appropriate combinations that encourage confidence, movement, and joy in dancers of all levels and backgrounds. Watching her students grow and express themselves through dance continues to be one of the most rewarding parts of her journey.

Megan Grabhorn
Megan is a contemporary dancer based in Atlanta, Georgia. Previously, she was a gymnast for 6 years prior to shifting to the art of dance where she trained with Carla’s Dance Factory, Southern Arc Dance, ADMIX Project, and many more. Through these programs, she developed technique in ballet, contemporary, modern, jazz, hip hop, tap, acro, musical theatre, and break-dancing. She is furthering her dance training by going to college to study dance with a focus in modern. She also studies psychology at Kennesaw State University. Along with dancing at a college, she works at a gymnastics center where she teaches ballet, choreographs beam and floor routines, and trains children to develop strength and artistry while moving. In her free time, she often finds herself exploring many different areas of art, such as sewing, crocheting, painting, drawing, animating, etc. Her art has been showcased through TV series’, scholarships, public performances, and news articles. Taking all of this into consideration, Megan is an interdisciplinary artist who continues to take creative reign over her opportunities.

Abigrace DiPrima
Abigrace trained at Gwinnett Ballet Theatre under direction of Wade Walthall and Lisa Sheppard Robson, subsequently receiving her BFA in dance from University of North Carolina School of the Arts under Dean Susan Jaffe. She went on to dance in Oklahoma City Ballet’s Studio Company and Ballet Tucson as an apprentice. As a company member, she has danced with Eugene Ballet, Texture Contemporary Ballet, Bluebird Uncaged, Jana Taylor and Dancers, Pasadena Dance Theatre, and Kayzer Ballet in Portugal. She also enjoyed performing in the European Royal Classical Ballet (Krolewski Ballet) 2024 US tour of Swan Lake. Some of her favorite pieces to dance include Balanchine’s Serenade and Donizetti Variations, the Mazurka variation and pas de deux from Les Sylphides, Grand Pas from The Nutcracker, as well as works by Suzanne Haag and Alan Obuzor. Aside from dancing, she enjoys jewelry making, teaching, baking, exploring her interest in counseling, and caring for her puppy, Elton. She currently dances as a company member at Gwinnett Ballet Theatre.

Stacy Wright
Ms. Stacy Wright started studying classical ballet technique under Lucia Hatcher of Firethorn Dance Academy in Tampa FL with a focus on French ballet technique and Graham contemporary method. At the age of sixteen she began teaching small children at Firethorn and eventually took on the intermediate levels and company choreography. In 1999 she graduated from the University of South Florida with a Bachelor of Arts in Dance. While at USF she studied, most notably, under Gretchen Ward Warren, former Ballet Mistress of American Ballet Theater and author for Classical Ballet Technique, and John Parks, a former dancer of the Alvin Alley Company. While in college she broadened her knowledge of Russian and Vaganova ballet methods as well as Limon and Horton contemporary styles. Ms. Wright also had the opportunity to study under internationally renowned David Howard whose teaching style focused on kinesthetics, imagery and the physics of movement. She has a certification in Progressive Ballet Technique (PBT) a conditioning and strengthening program that helps improve dancers’ technique in all forms of dance.
Ms. Wright has taught ballet technique, contemporary and children’s classes at several dance studios throughout Florida and North Georgia, including the children’s division classes, and youth outreach classes at the Sarasota Ballet Academy. She has focused her career on dance education; developing and refining skills in order teach the technique of ballet more effectively. Former Students have attended YGAP and have been offered scholarships to San Fransico Ballet School, the Sarasota Ballet Academy and The Margaret Barbieri Conservatory.
